Remember the Titans
Remember the Titans is a powerful and inspiring movie that tells the story of how a high school football team overcame racial tensions and prejudice to become champions. One scene that stands out and what I think is a very beautiful and strong scene is when the Titans are on a training camp in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. The scene takes place on a hot summer day, with the sun shining down on the players as they run drills and practice their plays. The camera angels in this scene are wide and panoramic, capturing the vastness of the Gettysburg battlefield and the smallness of the players in comparison. This creates a sense of awe and reverence for the history of the location, as well as a feeling of insignificance for the players in the face of something much bigger than themselves. As the players run and train, the atmosphere is tense and competitive. There is a sense of urgency and determination in the air, as the Titans know what they are facing a tough season...
